AgriHub Cares
Agriculture is built on community, and sometimes our community needs a helping hand. AgriHub Cares was born from this idea, ensuring we can help our community members who are in need.
AgriHub Cares is an employee-driven program, that each year, selects a worthy recipient(s) who is in need of medical care to fundraise for.
In 2022, our staff and community fundraised throughout the month of June for the Jongsma Family, raising enough to cover a sizable portion of a wheelchair accessible van to assist in travel, school, and day-to-day life of Garret, their 4-year old who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Garret’s father, Janwillem, is our Farm Management Services Advisor based out of Blumenort, MB.
In June 2022, employees contributed thousands of dollars toward the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible van for the Jongsma family and their son Garret, who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
In 2023, our staff and community fundraised to support Affordable Housing in and around our local operating areas.
The AgriHub Cares program is based on the belief that community means helping each other.
This and many other fundraising initiatives, amounting to one every quarter, is how AgriHub stays rooted and gives back to the many communities we call home.

- November – Men’s health (Movember)
- December – Food banks
In honour of giving back to the communities in which we conduct business in, live in, our farming partners live in, each Operating Brand selects a charity to support over a two year period.
For the 2025/2026 years, our employee selected charities are as follows:
- Bristish Columbia: Union Gospel Mission
- Alberta: Stars Air Ambulance
- Saskatchewan: Rosthern Good Neighbours Food Centre
- Manitoba: Southeast Helping Hands
- Ontario: The Ottawa Mission
Throughout the year, our employees commit to volunteering with various charities, organizations, and clubs, to earn ‘Sweat Equity’. Once our goal has been reached, the Board of Directors will donate to the chosen charities, dividing their collective sum between each charity.
